Description
Being on a beach is my happy place. No where do I feel closer to God than when I am near the water and see the vastness of His beauty and the immensity of His love. I paint a lot of beach scenes. This one is acrylic on stretched burlap. I wanted the burlap to show through to give it a more natural look. I also added real seashells and wood from a beach on the Gulf of Mexico. Her hat stands out from the canvas and is made of burlap, as is her purse. This piece has a lot of personality!
